Kevin Meehan (Scenic Designer)
Kevin is a Philadelphia based multi-disciplinary artist. A New Paradise Laboratories company member, a Wilma Theater HotHouse Resident Artist, half of the performance duo Miniature Refrigerator Operator, Kevin has also collaborated with Theatre Horizon, Arden, Lantern, PlayPenn, Interact, and Lightning Rod Special. He is a member of the Philadelphia Design Center, a three time SoLow Fest contributor, the 4 Weeks In January curator, an F. Otto Haas Award Semi-finalist, and a recipient of an Independence Foundation Fellowship. He has designed installations and sets for Sam Tower + Ensemble’s 901 Nowhere Street and Strange Tenants, and the Pig Iron MFA Catapult Visitation. This spring and summer he will be perform in Theatre Horizon's Peter and the Starcatcher and scenic design for Del Shakes' Much Ado About Nothing.
